Our Mission

Mind over Math Learning Center aims to be a one-stop shop for all of your learners math needs. We make math make sense! Our educators are all highly qualified and specialized in mathematics instruction. We offer full common core curriculum classes, 1:1 tutoring classes for additional and personal support, as well as specialty classes to fit your learners interest or areas for improvement.

Our Vision

Our vision is to create a community where learners come together feeling excited to learn math! We want to increase every learners confidence in their own abilities in math, allowing them to unlock their full potential. We believe that every learner can be great at math, they just need to learn in a way that is interesting and engaging to them and their specific learning style.

The Mind over Math Method

All of our classes are taught with the ‘Mind over Math Method"‘. This method of teaching is a learner-centered approach, which puts learners in the driver’s seat of their education, empowering them to reach their full potential. Our learners are active participants in their own learning. Every single concept that is taught in our classes is supported with examples that our teachers and learners complete together as well as examples that our learners complete on their own, with the support of their teacher, if needed. After the learners have had some time to work through the examples on their own, they come together to discuss and take up the problems together. This method ensures that all learners reach a deeper level of understanding of every concept that is taught. We also believe that learning should be enjoyable and engaging, which is why incorporate math games in our classes to consolidate our learners’ understanding of the concepts, all while having fun!
